Natural wine?
Natural wine refers to a wine that is natural in all steps of winemaking (fermentation, storage, bottling).
The most important difference between natural and conventionally made wine is the absence of sulfur, which kills all living substances (especially yeasts and microflora of the grapes) during the fermentation of grape juice into must and deprives the wine of its original expressiveness. Natural wine is made from fermented grape juice from which no ingredients are taken or artificially added: It is actually alive!

Several advantages result from the absence of sulfur:
more aromatic complexity, because the natural enzymes as well as the microflora of the grapes are preserved
more diverse aroma spectrum because the yeasts produce fewer sulfur-based flavors during fermentation
richer wines, because the number of naturally present yeasts on the skin of the grapes is greater and they are important as flavor carriers
healthier wines because sulfur is toxic in excessive amounts. Vibrancy and flavor dynamics in natural wine are incomparable.
